BOOK: Persuaded

Persuaded(The Jane Austen Diaries #3)
By Jenni James

Summary:

Will he take her back, or fling her aside like she deserves?

Three years ago Amanda made the biggest mistake of her life when she let her friends persuade her to reject the guy she loved. They were convinced he was a loser and wasn't good enough for her.

Now Gregory's back in Farmington . . . taller, stronger, hotter than ever, and worth millions. Those gorgeous girls who snubbed him before are now falling at his feet and he's enjoying every moment of it.

Can he see past the pain Amanda caused him and give her a second chance? Or will she forever regret losing the only guy who truly loved her?

~0~

I love the Jane Austen diaries
I love modern adaptation of classic novels

Persuaded was such a good read.
Persuaded is about how we shouldn't easily persuaded and that we should fight for the one that we love, and we shouldn't listen to the people around us, if we know that what they are saying is not good for us. And we should learn to stand up for ourselves.

Amanda- was just like Anne Elliot in many ways, I know that this was a modern adaptation of persuasion and it is, but somehow the characters were different, but I still love them. Amanda was a follower in many ways, she wasn't confident with herself but, she was kind and I believe by being kind you are beautiful. Amanda was the kind of heroine you will ruth for and not like at the same time, just because she couldn't stand up for herself but she's the kind of character that you hope will win.

Gregory- was somehow sweet. I love how he tried to hate or forget what he feels for Amanda it was cute. Even though it was evident that he was still in love with her. Being he became confident about himself although I believe that even in the beginning he was confident, i mean he knows Amanda loves her. And be was confident about that.

Mr. And Mrs. Wentworth was the sweetest parents.

Collin- I love Collin and his hidden talents, I love bow he came to be, and how he won by finding his true love.

Kylie- I didn't like her in pride and popularity just because. And I didn't like her in some parts of the book specially the flash backs. But, she was a great friend.

I love persuaded and I can't for for Emmalee, very excited.

Read it. You'll love it.

BOOK: While It Lasts

While it Last
By Abbi Glines

Summary:

Maybe driving home after a few (or more) shots of tequila had been a bad idea, but hell, he did it all the time. The cops had to have been freaking bored to have pulled him over. He wasn’t even swerving! That’s Cage York’s story and he’s sticking to it.

Unfortunately, his baseball coach isn’t buying it. Cage has a free ride to the local junior college for baseball -- or he did, until he’d gotten a DUI. Now, Cage has to decide: does he drop out and give up his dream of getting noticed by a college in the SEC, and possibly making it into the Major Leagues -- or does he give in to his coach’s demands and spend his summer baling hay?

Eva Brooks planned out her life step by step when she was eight years old. Not once over the years had she lost sight of her goals. Josh Beasley, her next door neighbor, had been the center of those goals. He’d been her first boyfriend at seven, her first kiss at ten, her first date at fifteen, and her first tragedy at eighteen. The moment she’d received the phone call from Josh’s mother saying he’d been killed along with four other soldiers just north of Baghdad, Eva’s carefully planned life imploded in the worst way possible.

Cage isn’t real happy with his closet-sized bedroom in the back of a foul smelling barn, or his daily interactions with cows, but he knows that if he doesn’t make his coach happy then he can kiss his scholarship goodbye. Only a sick and twisted man would decide his punishment was to be working on a farm all summer. No hot babes in bikinis waiting to meet a Southern boy to make her vacation complete. Just him and the damned cows.

Oh -- and an uptight, snarky brunette with the biggest blue eyes he’s every seen. But she doesn’t count, because as hard as he’s tried to charm her out of her panties - he’s pretty sure she’d rather see him hung from the rafters than let him get a taste of her pretty little lips

~0~

Please be about Cage. PLEASE! :)
and wish come true, It's About Cage!:)

~0~

I love Love it.

Abbi Glines is Amazing.

It's Good. So Good.

I Love how Cage Changed throughout the Book.

I love Eva, and her journey of letting go.

And everything Just Turns Full Circle with Eva's closure.

will there be an Amanda Hardy book? Please.:)

BOOK: Pushing the Limits

Pushing the Limits
By

Summary:
"I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise." Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. "You didn't do that-did you? It was done to you?" No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

BOOK: Chasing McCree

Chasing McCree
By J.C. Isabella

Summary

Briar Thompson had it all. The right clothes, the right friends, the right car. Being popular was all that mattered. Her parents were rich and treated like royalty throughout the community. She thought her senior year of high school was going perfectly, until the night her drink was spiked at a party by one of her so called friends.

That was the night she met Chase McCree.

Chase wanted to go back to Montana. To the ranch and the wild, wide blue sky that went on forever. He wanted nothing to do with flashy cars or spoiled rich kids. Shunned and hurt by the people who were once her friends, Briar flees with Chase to his family ranch in Montana. There she discovers another world, and apart of herself she never knew.

The cowboy wasn’t like anyone she’d ever met. The cheerleader wasn’t like anyone he’d ever met. Apart their lives didn’t seem to make sense, but together, they were chasing forever.

Charlie Parker was it for Autumn from the very beginning and Charlie was for Autumn. his very sweet and kind i like how he waits for the right time to tell Autumn how much he loves her. and how she leaves the person his in a relationship with for her.

BOOK: The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent Boys #2)

The Vincent Bothers  ( The Vincent Boys #2)
By Abbi Glines

The Vincent Brothers (The Vincent Boys, #2)

Summary

He may have given her up without a fight, but Sawyer Vincent is far from over losing the girl he’s loved all of his life. Instead of giving up his best friend and the girl he thought he’d spend forever with, he gave Ashton and his brother Beau his blessing. However, adjusting to seeing Ashton wrapped up in Beau’s arms isn’t easy. Complicating everything even more, Ashton’s cousin Lana is in town for the summer. Sweet, kind, soft-spoken Lana, who gets under his skin. Just being near her makes him forget all about Ashton and his broken heart. Lana is everything he wanted Ashton to be except she isn’t Ashton. She lacks the backbone to stand up for herself and confidence that Ashton wears like a crown.

Lana McDaniel has lived her life in her cousin's shadow. While Lana struggled with her grades no matter how hard she tried, her mother praised Ashton's intelligence. She hadn’t been blessed with Ashton’s blond hair and flawless skin, but that didn't keep her mother from lamenting her naturally red hair and freckles. But none of that would have mattered if Ashton hadn’t always had Sawyer Vincent wrapped around her finger -- the only boy Lana wanted. Once Ashton let Sawyer go, Lana had been so sure that he’d move on. Determined to make Sawyer finally see her, she'd talked her mother into letting her spend the summer with Ashton. But Sawyer is still in love with Ashton, and Lana isn’t going to be anyone's rebound girl. No matter how yummy Sawyer Vincent’s kisses taste.

~0~

I Love, Love The Vincent Brothers!

~0~

WOW. This book is really something.
Its a beautiful book. its beautifully written.
it has a lot of lesson.

i love the phasing of the book, i think it was not hurried and it was not slow, but, you'll keep on turning and turning until you finished the book. at, first i didn't want to read it, because with what i saw on some reviews, but, i started reading it and i just cant stop until I'm done.

i love it a lot. it made me cry a lot. actually after finishing the book i cried an hour or so, because I'm very emotional, when it comes to death, it may not have the Happy Ending that i want, but, i love it 100%, no doubt about that.

I love Chase, i feel that his a real person, he wasn't written to make you believe in Prince Charming that will save you, but, he'll be there for you. no matter what.

Nikki, saved Chase from everything that was going on with him. and i love a girl with purpose, she, was just there to be her, and try to save the person she comes to love. i love Nikki's letter for Chase in the end, i feel that its really vital for him to continue living, not only for himself but, for Nikki too.

~0~

I finished reading it in one day if you add all the time when i was reading it, but i slept at 4AM. but, it was worth it.

Wow. Barely Breathing, Exciting, Heart braking, intense, Emotional and Breath taking.

It just amaze me how many emotions the book can extract from me.

She was Dead. but, then again she's not. she was saved.

I love Barely Breathing its lighter than, Reasons to breath,

i love how Emma tried to stay strong after everything that happened to her, but, i hated her for not telling her friends and the people who love what she was really going through, i think that her life will be easier if she just ask for help and if she open up to the people who love her.

I loved Vicious Circle, its somewhat more complex yet, easier to understand than the 1st book.
Vicious Circle was about love, misunderstanding,Friendship and confusion.

Observation #4: Three words: six-pack abs.
Observation #5: Do not even get me started on the state of the bathroom. I'm thinking of calling in a hazmat team. Seriously.
Observation #6: These boys know how to make enemies. Big time.
Megan Meade will have to juggle a new school, a new family, a new crush -- on the boy next door, as in next bedroom door -- and a new life. Will she survive the McGowan boys?
~0~
I love it. yet, i feel that its incomplete and i want more. it left me hanging.

But, it was really Good, Great.

BOOK: Blue Sky Days

Blue Sky Days
By Marie Landry

Blue Sky Days

Summary

A year after graduating from high school, nineteen-year-old Emma Ward feels lost. She has spent most of her life trying to please her frigid, miserable mother - studying hard, getting good grades, avoiding the whole teenage rebellion thing - and now she feels she has no identity beyond that. Because she spent so many years working hard and planning every moment of her life, she doesn't have any friends, has never had a boyfriend, and basically doesn't know who she is or what she really wants from life. Working two part-time jobs to save money for college hasn't helped her make decisions about her future, so she decides it's time for a change. She leaves home to live with her free-spirited, slightly eccentric Aunt Daisy in a small town that makes Emma feel like she's stepped back in time.

When Emma meets Nicholas Shaw, everything changes - he's unlike anyone she's ever met before, the kind of man she didn't even know existed in the 21st century. Carefree and spirited like Daisy, Nicholas teaches Emma to appreciate life, the beauty around her, and to just let go and live. Between Daisy and Nicholas, Emma feels like she belongs somewhere for the first time in her life, and realizes that you don't always need a plan - sometimes life steers you where you're meant to be.

Life is wonderful, an endless string of blue sky days, until Nicholas is diagnosed with cancer, and life changes once again for Emma in ways she never thought possible. Now it's time for her to help Nicholas the way he's helped her. Emma will have to use her new-found strength, and discover along the way if love really is enough to get you through.

~0~

It's a story that will break your heart and mend it all over again.

Blues sky days is such a wonderful book. it somehow make you believe that everything is possible with love. i cried a lot while reading the book. and when i say a lot it means a lot! The story thought me how life is short  that you can be happy at first then sorrowful the next. the book will teach you how to see life in a different light. and make you realize that you should not take life for granted, and just make the most out of it.

Emma, is such a lonely girl. she doesn't feel love, especially by the one who should love her most, but, coming to Riverview she learned a lot of things. like how life should really be, how happiness is just around the corner waiting for her. i just lover her for being strong, and knowing what she wants in the end. i love her for loving Nicholas so much and never giving up on him and that she became his foundation when he really needed her.

Nicholas, is such a sweet sweet boy,his just so full of life and love, i love his sweetness towards Emma and everybody else. and even when his going through something that really heavy his sense of humor is still in tact. and his just so strong and very positive.

Daisy, is just fun and lovable. you'll just love her no matter what.

Tilly, is just plain MEAN.

Vince and Maggie, i think are the sweetest friends and they're just so warm.

Read it, You'll love it.

Can i just say that i Love Love it.

Finished reading the book while i was on break from work and in between, yes, I'm reading while working.

The couple had a weird way of showing they're love for each other, but, i love that they went to through hell and back and still love each other. i love how strong they're relationship is even though its bringing them close to insanity. they really are a beautiful disaster.

Travis is one character that you wont forget. i feel that Travis can bring out things in you that you are not aware off, and at times i feel that his close to insanity. but, you'll just love him no matter what.

Abby is a character you'll love and hate. because at times i was frustrated with her, that i feel she should have said somethings but, she didn't and they just both got hurt in the end but, in the end you'll just love her because she grew through out the book.

Mare and Shep they have this really balanced relationship and i love Mare as Best Friend she's very sweet and loving.

Finch and so lovable, mini role but, big impact.

The book was Amazing. its so good that you wouldn't want to put it down.

It was good.

when i first saw it i didn't know it was a modern day retelling of Cupid and Psyche, it just spark the interest in me, but, i didn't read it right away i was still thinking if i should read it. but, one day i was scanning some reviews and learned that its a retelling of Cupid and Psyche, since i am a sucker for Greek myth i read it right away and it did not disappoint.

I like how the retelling goes. i love how the simple the story goes and its very easy to understand. if some people doesn't like modern retelling of old stories, well, i do. it just give me something to think about like if this really happened in the original story it will be better, it will keep you thinking the "what ifs?

the romance is really fast. i felt that its really destiny.

i love how they try to protect each other from each other, i love they love each other yet they're trying to spare each other.

i love Lorona's name and how it was explained, its somehow mysterious and intriguing.

i love how the story played out, how they realize that they are really for each other.

Read it. You'll love it.

Its a great book. if you love S.C Stephen's Thoughtless and Effortless then you'll love this series too, You'll like it very much and you'll read it.

The plot was good, i think it was hurried though, i think there could be more, but, as the whole story goes it was wonderful. i love how the whole story flow from start to finish.

Irelyn was at times frustrating, i just don't get the way she thinks, but i love how she realize and solve the things she needs to solve, i also love how fast she realizes things, but, i didn't like that she didn't open up to her friends and Family about whats really going on. but, it adds more to the story and somehow it became more complex.

Lucas was DREAM. his so understanding and sweet and charming and all that. i love how he sees his relationship and how he just clicks with everybody.

Spencer and Collin are sweet, they just understand whats going around them and how they want to help and they're just so sweet.

Bailey and Morgan are the coolest friends. i love how Bailey is honest and straight to the point and i love Morgan whose nice and sweet, level headed and very in tact with her moral. the 3 of them just click even though they have different personalities.

Willamina and Tommy are so understanding. specially little Tommy, i think his just adorable and the sweetest little thing, and the Mom is so cool and free spirited and not uptight.

The Grandparents can i just i hate them. specially the Grandfather his like an overlord who wants to control and rule everyone.

Read it. You'll love it.

BOOK: Falling Fast

Falling Fast
By Sophie McKenzie

Summary:

When River auditions for a part in an interschool performance of Romeo and Juliet, she finds herself smitten by Flynn, the boy playing Romeo. But Flynn comes from a damaged family—is he even capable of giving River what she wants? The path of true love never did run smooth . . .

This is real life, not a rehearsal...

~0~

Falling Fast is a story about Falling Fast.

I always believed that falling in love should be easy.
but, the book thought me that love isn't easy to find and that love takes a lot of things like understanding, trust, faith and Love.

The book will show how love really can be, how a simple misunderstanding can lead to something else. how a miss-communication will lead to heart ache and how love will conquer all.

River is a character that you will like and dislike. at some point i disliked her because of how she thinks and she perceive things, then i like because shes really a hopeless romantic, she believes in love and happy ending and everything would be easy, that with love they could conquer all.

Flynn has many enemies within himself. his very angry with world and how his life and the life of his family turns out. but i believe that with that experience he became hard and moody. but, i love how his life came to be i love how he loves his family and how he takes care of them.

Read it. You'll love it.

It was Good~

It was nice reading something light and feel good.
its about being being attracted to the person you don't want to be attracted with, because of what you experienced with the person while you were young.
i love the book so much because it lets you experience how young love can be, and how pure and significantly big it is.

I love how the character were written, how they grow with the story progressing.
I love Ethan his sweet. and he really knows what he want, i love how he love Sophie, even though it seems so extreme.
with Sophie i liked how she try's not to be attracted to Ethan because of their childhood and i love how she told Ethan everything with the thought of dying, and i think that she's really cute like that, and i love her persistence in attracting Peter and how she wants to take everything to the next level.

all in all it was a good book, a definitely MUST read.

Read it. You'll love it.

I liked it a lot.

although they're misunderstanding was so long,

but, i love the concept of first love, and then having a happily ever after.

Jacob was so cool. i love, love him. he was very sweet and very understanding.

I actually love and hate Beth at some point. but, i can understand that she protects herself and she just doesn't want to put it out there, like her feelings is very important to her but, in the end of that protection she's hurting the people she really love. but, i still like her specially were she face her own fears and feelings and just takes the leap and took her chances with Jacob and finally setting her true self free.

over all the book was good and it was worth reading once you start reading it, you'll fell in love with it.

BOOK: Because of Low

Because of Low (Sea Breeze 2)
By Abbi Glines

Summary:

In my debut novel, Breathe, Sadie may have fallen in love with the teen rock star, Jax Stone, but readers fell head over heels for Marcus Hardy. This is his story…

Marcus Hardy had hoped to enjoy a year away at college while he put the summer he’d rather forget behind him. But instead, he’s jerked right back to the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama due to a family crisis. His dear ol' dad found himself a girlfriend only a few years older than Marcus. So now his sister needs help dealing with their mother who is mentally falling apart. The only bright spot to returning is the fascinating red head who sleeps over several times a week. The problem is she's sleeping in bed with his new roommate, Cage Watson.

Willow “Low” Foster needs a place to live. Running to Cage’s apartment every time her sister kicks her out isn’t exactly a long term solution. Juggling her courses at the local community college and a part time job doesn’t produce excess income. But Cage has a new roommate and suddenly sleeping over at her best friend’s apartment isn’t such a bad thing. Not when she gets to see those sexy green eyes of Marcus Hardy’s twinkle when he smiles at her like he wants her there.

Even though Cage seems a little territorial where Low is concerned, Marcus finds time to spend with Low without upsetting his roommate. Cage may use his small college baseball star persona to sleep with every hot female in his path but he’s still under the disillusion that when he’s through sowing his wild oats, he’s going to marry Low. Marcus intends to change that assumption for both Cage and Low. Until his carefully laid plans come crashing down with a revelation he never expected. He’ll have to choose between Low or his family. Because once the truth comes out.... there’s no other choice.
